About the Role
Are you passionate about creating fast, dependable, and scalable infrastructure for a product used by engineering teams worldwide? Spotify’s Backstage team is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to help build a developer platform that enhances the developer experience—and we’re moving quickly.
As a member of our expanding engineering team, you’ll design, build, and manage the cloud infrastructure for our external developer portal. You’ll work closely with skilled engineers and gain hands-on experience with challenges around scale, observability, and security in a real production environment.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a startup-like atmosphere, enjoys infrastructure work, and wants to make a big impact supporting a product used globally by engineers.
Backstage isn’t just a platform—it’s a revolutionary tool in the developer community. Originally created at Spotify to improve developer tools, it’s now a leading solution for developer portals worldwide, helping both large companies and small teams boost developer satisfaction.
By joining the Backstage team, you’ll help shape the developer experience for companies of all sizes, contribute to an active open-source community, and influence the future of developer tooling for millions.
