What We’re Looking For

The TechOps team is searching for individuals who are curious, eager to learn, and excited about technology. You’ll play a key role in supporting and evolving Splunk’s large-scale cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test new features in SplunkCloud

  • Execute infrastructure and configuration changes in customer cloud environments

  • Lead incident resolution efforts for SplunkCloud

  • Develop and maintain automation tools

  • Write and update documentation for technical changes

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in large-scale operations with Linux and cloud platforms, especially AWS

  • Past roles may include systems administrator, network engineer, or DevOps engineer

  • Passion for solving complex problems in distributed systems

  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and on-call rotations

  • Interested in scaling one-off tasks to thousands of systems

Basic Requirements

  • 2–3 years of Linux experience

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or Go

  • Must obtain the SplunkCloud Architect Certification within 2 years

  • U.S. citizenship required to support FedRAMP High environment

Preferred Skills

  • Splunk administration

  • Familiarity with Puppet, Jenkins, Powershell

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure
