About the Role
DexCare is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Infrastructure team. In this role, you will focus on building, scaling, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, driving high-velocity delivery, and improving automation and observability. This role is perfect for engineers who take ownership, value precision, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and Scale Infrastructure: Build resilient, scalable infrastructure in AWS with a focus on EKS, IAM, RBAC, and security-first practices.
- CI/CD Optimization: Optimize and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security to enhance velocity while maintaining security.
- Observability Management: Own observability across the stack using Datadog (metrics, logging, alerting, and tracing).
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Write and maintain Terraform modules to automate infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Automation: Develop internal tools and scripts in Python to automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for runbooks, standards, and operational workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Agile workflows using Jira for tracking work and progress.
- Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotations, postmortems, and continuous improvement with a blameless mindset.
Required Skills
- Experience: 4+ years in a Senior SRE or DevOps role managing production cloud infrastructure at scale.
- AWS Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS services like IAM, EKS, VPC, EC2, and Secrets Manager.
- Terraform & Helm: Proficiency in Terraform and Helm for infrastructure management and automation.
- CI/CD Tools: Strong experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD, including GitHub Advanced Security features such as secret scanning and code policy enforcement.
- Monitoring: Hands-on experience with Datadog for building dashboards, setting up monitors, and interpreting telemetry data.
- Scripting: Strong Python skills for automating tasks and building internal tools.
- Documentation: Ability to maintain clear and thorough documentation for systems and processes.
- Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and Jira for work tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Container Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Resource Optimization: Experience with resource analysis and optimization in cloud environments.
- Security Compliance: Familiarity with security best practices, including cloud security and compliance frameworks.
- Mobile & Frontend Integration: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile or frontend applications is a plus.
