About the Role

PGIM Fixed Income’s technology group seeks an eager, motivated individual to join their Application Service Delivery team. As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing production management support for investment management platforms used by front office, operations, and client teams. This role offers the chance to gain experience with complex investment systems and back-office data management platforms in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide production management for systems supporting front office, operations, and client teams.
  • Monitor and resolve issues within PGIM Fixed Income’s technology batch environment.
  • Participate in incident and problem management processes, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Be available for on-call escalations, including evenings and weekends.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior team members, learning from their expertise.
  • Interface with external vendors when troubleshooting production issues.

Skills & Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in SRE or application support.
  • Ability to learn quickly through collaboration and mentorship from senior team members.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to relay technical issues concisely.
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries (MS SQL preferred).
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system and writing commands.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to incident resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple incidents in high-pressure environments.

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not required).
