Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Google Cloud Platform Cloud SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to support cloud-based applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform, automation, and system reliability, along with a strong foundation in programming and cloud‑native technologies.
Core Responsibilities
- Infrastructure architecture
- CI/CD pipeline automation
- Application deployment orchestration
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure software meets:
- Functional and non‑functional requirements
- Security and compliance standards
- Enhance and maintain existing application features
- Troubleshoot and resolve application failures during development and testing
- Develop and maintain:
- High‑level and component‑level design documentation
- Contribute to full application lifecycle:
- Development
- Maintenance
- Release management
- Critical bug fixes
- Ensure high‑quality, error‑free delivery of software solutions
- Participate in Agile development processes
- Leverage AI tools for development and testing where applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of:
- Infrastructure architecture
- Large-scale distributed systems
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCE, GKE)
- Linux‑based systems
- Programming / scripting experience in:
- Python
- Java
- Bash
- Experience with:
- Docker
- Virtual Machines
- Kubernetes
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Terraform
- Python‑based automation
- Foundational knowledge of:
- Networking (HTTP, TCP/IP)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Curious mindset with a passion for technology
Good to Have
- Experience with:
- CI/CD tools (Bamboo, JIRA, Git)
- Workload automation tools (UC4 / Automic)
- Experience in:
- CI/CD pipeline automation
- Application deployment orchestration
Experience Required
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Cloud / SRE / DevOps roles
