About the Role

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at IDEMIA is responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of production services. This role combines the best practices of software engineering and system operations to create resilient and self-healing systems. As an SRE, you will monitor and improve production systems, automate deployments, and contribute to the development of new tools and solutions that ensure the stability of IDEMIA’s services.

Responsibilities

  • Own product KPIs and SLA reporting, ensuring high availability and performance of production services.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments.
  • Deploy upgrades, install patches, and ensure that production environments are always up to date.
  • Manage automated deployments, ensuring smooth transitions between environments.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and generate performance reports for incident tracking and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and development processes.
  • Maintain playbooks and documentation, supporting incident response and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

  • At least 6 years of experience supporting cloud-based, highly available solutions.
  • Minimum 6 years in SRE, DevOps, or software engineering.
  • Strong background in Network Administration, Unix/Linux systems, and CLI.
  • Experience in log aggregation, monitoring, and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD automation and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Tenable Nessus, Qualys, and ArcSight.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to different audiences effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of FISMA High environments and NIST 800-53 controls.
  • Experience in database administration and test automation in CI/CD processes.
  • Experience designing scalable, reliable, and extensible systems.
  • Previous experience working with SOC-2 and FedRamp High compliance standards.
